Tell him to go to the doctor anyway….. they might need to run blood work just in case he might have some sort of benign tumor/prostate cancer etc. Other than that, he needs to make sure he’s getting all his nutrients and take a good multivitamin because he is 60 and hes losing a lot of nutrients because hes jogging all the time.

Call the medics to come to you. This is not anything to mess with tell him that if a stroke or other problem is caught soon enough it will only incapacitate him for a little while but, if he waits too long he may end up with a permanent problem and for sure it will mess with his job then

i wish that i could tell you exactly what it is but nausea can be associated with a number of things. I suggest that tomorrow you call his primary and get a appointment for him. They may want to run test on him to get a proper dx.

It is possible that his blood sugar is running high, but symptoms suggest he is having mini-strokes. If he is the type that is a workaholic, or isn’t afraid to die, then tell him that strokes can render him partially paralyzed. He can be fully functioning in the brain but unable to move part or all of his body, and be unable to speak and make his needs known. If he wants to keep working, he had better get a checkup.

These symptoms in people of that age often may indicate a Transient Ischemic Attack (TIA, or “mini-stroke”).

I forget the exact figure, but I do believe that over 90% of individuals who have a TIA absolutely WILL go on to have a true stroke within the next 6 months.

So please, take your father to the doctor, and discuss the possibility of stroke and TIA.
