I was doing some research at work today during my down time using our T1 Chicago internet connection. I bought a really great old watch for my husband at an estate sale this weekend. The watch is very deco looking. It is 14kt gold and actually still works. I only paid one hundred dollars for it. I went to the jewelry and got a band for it. The jeweler told me some websites that may help me identify the model and date that the watch was made. Turns out, that after all of my research today that the watch is a Hamilton “Wilshire” wind watch that was produced in – get this—1939! Wow!
