Daniel T asked:
I wish to break my parents very old tv. It has been holding up so well and i want to force them to get a new tv. I have to watch this tv so i want a new one. I would want a way that will make it look like old age.

Why not just get off your butt and buy them one, or buy yourself one to put in your room?

Rewire it.
Take a pair of big nail clippers and cut at the wires a little, so it looks like rats.
Go onto the menu thing and change the setting so it only shows in black and white or something.
Idk I’ve only done things like this with a computer.

Instead of breaking their stuff that they pay for, why dont you get off your arse and get a job and buy your own tv since you are the one wanting it to begin with.

Do you know just how much of a crass consumerist you are? The TV works, so your parents are keeping it. I’m sorry if it’s not flatscreen or high definition, but they don’t need that. If you do, why not go buy yourself a flat panel or rear projection high definition set with your own money?
Also, very old means mid 80′s or earlier. Those sets lacked comb filters and admittedly had a pretty bad picture. I hope you at least have a semi-legitimate gripe here, and aren’t just squawking over a five year old “32. Seriously, I played my games on a 12″ black and white, and then my Genesis on a 13″ set with a wierd greenish tint to everything. You’re spoiled.
