I ignore them or report them/thumbs down them if they’re dodgy. Some stuff does get deleted but usually on reporting, other than that I guess it’s not too well-monitored. But a lot of it is up to individual responsibility I mean young kids shouldn’t be on this site unsupervised and if there are any young teens they should know not to be dumb enough to email people like that.

I try to treat each question as an honest one, but there are certainly some perverts and delinquents all around YahooAnswers, especially this forum because it often relates to sexual questions.

If someone is abusing this service, spreading hate speech, or potentially using this site to make contact with minors for degrading or sexual purposes, PLEASE report the user and question to Yahoo.

The statistics on how many children are sexually solicited online by adults is staggering. Such behaviour must never be tolerated.

For EVERYONE who is reading this: NEVER give out personal information to someone you meet online and never arrange to meet with them in person. There are plenty of good people out there, but the fact is you can never know what someone’s intentions (or even identity!) are online.

Yep, I’ve noticed too. Report people you think are out of line, and hopefully everyone will use reasonably clean, rather than crude, language. And I don’t EVER want to see that question … Is my penis size normal …. EVER AGAIN!!!!!! lol.

When you see a question or answer all you have to do it click the “report it” button.

I would hope Yahoo is monitoring. I’ve gotten censured a couple of times for giving honest answers. Apparently the questions were a little over the line. I agree with you however that there are a lot of people on here playing games and getting their jollies. Sad isn’t it?

I agree. It’s not as well monitored as other sites I am on. On another site I picked up that a young gay male had actually been raped by a man in his 40s when he met up thinking it was another 15 year old boy.

yes there are people monitoring 13 is the youngest but its not tested so any age and you can report abuse
